The Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association (OESAA) has announced that Hella has become the 14th company to join the group and will participate in the forthcoming AutoInform Live innovative technical and hands-on training event.
Hella supplies advanced technology and first-rate quality components to vehicle manufacturers for everything from large-scale volume production to the small scale assembly of specialised vehicles.
The company says its longstanding commitment to R&D and years of experience makes it a reliable partner and supplier of innovative lighting and electronic products for the entire vehicle industry, from passenger cars, commercial vehicles, caravans & motorhomes, power sports, marine and mining through to E-Cars.
Its decision to join has been welcomed by OESAA Chairman Nigel Morgan, Managing Director of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd, owners of the LuK clutch, INA tensioner & FAG wheel bearing OE brands. He said: “Hella is a world famous brand which is renowned for its OE pedigree and product quality. The company’s decision to join OESAA will only strengthen the campaign and we are delighted that it will become an active member and will participate in AutoInform Live.
“It is important that as a group we keep up the momentum of the campaign. Our members all share a common concern – safety, and we want every mechanic in every workshop to recognise and understand the risk of fitting inferior or sub-standard non-tested parts.
“Vehicle manufacturers and OE suppliers invest millions in R&D and testing to ensure that their products offer the highest levels of performance and safety to the consumer. The end-user experience is key to this message – namely that a vehicle is more likely to ‘feel the same and drive the same’ if the original parts are replaced ‘like-for-like’.
“The additional benefit for the installer is the reassurance that the product will fit first time, every time and that they can just ‘fit it and forget it’.”
OESAA is the driving force behind AutoInform Live – an event organised in conjunction with the UK’s leading technical trainer Frank Massey to provide visitors with a ‘Hear it, See it and Touch it’ experience.
The interactive weekend is being held at the state-of-the-art GTG Training Academy in Wolverhampton on November 28 & 29 and promises to be even bigger and better than last year’s inaugural event which attracted 180 technicians from all over the UK and Ireland.
The GTG Training Academy is the ideal location for AutoInform Live as it gives exhibitors the opportunity to carry out detailed, hands-on training on live-running vehicles up on ramps.
