Why do I only have to select one group?
Each session will be 1.5 hrs long so doing 8 sessions over the weekend will give you a full 12 hrs of training. With breaks you wont be able to do anymore than 8 sessions.
One of the courses I want to do is not in the group I am selecting, Can I swap the odd course?
Yes, there is a live screen at the event showing how many people are booked onto every session, as long as its not full you can switch, usually its easier on the Sunday.
I want to do the LuK Double Clutch IMI certified course what does it involve ?
When you first arrive go to the IMI training desk and you will be given a short multi choice questionnaire and they will schedule the two sessions for you in the right order. You need to complete the questionnaire before you attend the double clutch presentation and demonstration. After that you can complete the IMI assessment and then you will be asked to complete the same questionnaire. Its not difficult to achieve the qualification and you will be helped as much as you need to achieve a pass.
I have heard the lunchtime is split into two sessions?
We split the delegates into 2 sessions to avoid long queues and make sure the delegates at the end get fresh hot food. This also give you more time to talk to the presenters rather than standing in a lunch queue.
Are refreshments available?
Hot drinks and water will be available free during the breaks and lunch is included in the weekend price.
I have heard that the evening dinner is a formal affair?
No, the dinner is a great opportunity to discuss the first days events, network with other independents and to further discuss the issues you face with some of the suppliers attending the event in a relaxed atmosphere. The dress code is smart casual so no need to dress up and to top it off we have a fantastic Irish comedian to entertain you after the dinner.
